What I Offer

Care shaped around you.

Every person I work with is different. Here is what I offer, who each service is for, and what you can expect.

01

Individual Sessions

Ksh 5,000 per session

One-on-one sessions with me, either in person in Nairobi or virtually via Google Meet. These sessions are for anyone working through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, or simply wanting a space to think clearly.

As a psychiatrist, I can also assess whether medication might support your recovery — something a therapist or counsellor cannot do. You do not need a referral to see me.

Group Sessions

Facilitated group therapy sessions for people working through shared experiences — stress and burnout, grief, or general wellbeing. Groups offer the added value of hearing others who understand what you are going through.

Groups run periodically. To find out when the next group is forming and whether it is right for you, reach out via WhatsApp or the booking form.

I work with organisations, HR teams, and event organisers to bring credible, evidence-based mental health education into the workplace. Topics include stress and burnout, anxiety, alcohol awareness, building psychological safety, and mental health leadership.

Engagements range from 60-minute talks to full-day workshops and ongoing corporate consulting. Each engagement is designed with your organisation's specific context in mind.

Common questions

What is the difference between a psychiatrist and a therapist?

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has specialised in mental health. This means I can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medication where appropriate — something therapists and counsellors cannot do. I also provide talk therapy.

Do I need a referral to see you?

No. You can book directly without a referral from another doctor.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, sessions are self-pay. Payment is via M-Pesa or cash. If your insurance covers out-of-pocket mental health expenses, I can provide a receipt for reimbursement.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance for us to meet. I will ask about what is bringing you in, your background, and what you are hoping for. There is no pressure — it is a conversation, not an assessment.

Are virtual sessions as effective as in-person?

For most concerns, yes. Virtual sessions via Google Meet are secure and work well. Some people prefer in-person — we can discuss what makes most sense for you.
